The meeting was called to order by President/Chairman Doug Parker at 8:05 a.m.

Motion: Anthea Disney made a motion to approve the slate as presented. Peter Bevivino seconded the motion. There was no discussion. The motion was passed unanimously.

Motion: JoAnn Ryan made a motion to approve the slate as presented. Susan Clayton seconded the motion. There was no discussion. The motion was passed unanimously.

Motion: Susan Clayton made a motion to approve the slate as presented. Fran Delaney seconded the motion. There was no discussion. The motion was passed unanimously.
2. Future Directions of NWCTEDC
Doug Parker provided a brief overview of the NWCTEDC and indicated that the NWCTEDC is currently in transition, trying to move toward more of an implementation mode vs. an informational mode. The challenge will be to find funding sources to make that transition. The NW CT CEDS will be coming up for renewal in April 2018.
3. Letter of Support for the Western CT Convention & Visitors Bureau
Motion: JoAnn Ryan made a motion for the NWCTEDC to provide a letter of support for continued state funding for the Western CT Convention & Visitors Bureau. Amy Wynn seconded the motion. Erin Wilson wanted to let the (WCCVB) know that there are concerns about a lack of coverage of the Litchfield Hills. The motion was passed unanimously.
The board meeting was officially adjourned at 8:30 a.m. A small working group of Executive Committee members met in another room to discuss future directions of the NWCTEDC. Doug Parker stayed and met with board members (not involved in the meeting) to answer questions. That session ended at 9:30 a.m.
